Thanksgiving day is sneaking up on us faster than a hungry alien in a sci-fi thriller! And let me tell you, my family has cooked up a plan for not one, but two Thanksgiving celebrations. First up, the classic Thanksgiving feast at 2 pm on the big day itself. But here’s the twist – I’ll be sneaking out of the festivities early to stake my claim in the Black Friday shopping frenzy. Yep, you heard that right. While everyone’s enjoying turkey and stuffing, I’ll be plotting my mission at Walmart, with my trusty partner-in-crime, Hubby, tackling the Target battlefield.
Now, picture this: it’s still dark outside, and we’re in the midst of the Black Friday chaos. It’s like a suspenseful scene straight out of a mystery novel. I’ll be strategizing my way through the crowded aisles, dodging bargain-hungry shoppers like a secret agent on a mission.
And if all goes well, I’ll be back home by 7:30 a.m. on Friday, with my shopping spoils in tow. Maybe I’ll even swing by Toys R Us for some out-of-this-world deals and hit up an outlet mall for some intergalactic discounts.
So, while the rest of the family enjoys their Thanksgiving feast, I’ll be embarking on my own thrilling adventure, armed with a shopping list and a determination rivaling that of any sci-fi hero. Who said Thanksgiving can’t be a little out of this world?
