In 1898, the wealthy mining town of Jerome, Arizona, was rife with crime, from robbery and prostitution to violence. A gruesome murder during that time sparked a series of mysterious events that would reverberate for years.
Fast forward to 2024: Jenny Spencer runs the Copper Star Saloon and Hotel, a popular tourist spot in Jerome. However, strange and unsettling occurrences in the newly renovated section of the hotel are starting to harm her business. Cain Barrett, the affluent owner of the nearby Grandview Hotel, offers his assistance. But Cain has his own troubles to deal with.
As they uncover a connection between a murder at the Copper Star, an old journal, and strange ghostly appearances at both hotels, Jenny and Cain are left wondering if these events are merely coincidence or something far more sinister. Together, they must solve the mystery, but Cain is determined not to let anything—whether from the past or present—come between him and the woman he’s falling for.
